News Flash: Maggie takes 3 steps!

We interrupt this blogless lull with an important news flash.
Maggie has taken her first steps (unassisted)!

It started just like every other Sunday morning.
...the mad rush to get the kids ready for church on time.
...a quick prayer that the autodoor on the garage would work properly - after jamming recently.
...Maggie taking off her shoes in the car so she could munch on them.
Then during the announcements at church, while she was holding Marge's hand, Maggie decided that it was time to show the world.
I was watching as she took a first wobbly step away from Marge. Usually, she would fall to a crawl after 1 step, but she didn't this time. Step 2 was even more wobbly, but she managed to keep her balance with the poise of a drunken tightrope walker. By now I was ecstatic, looking around to see who else was witnessing this historic event. Marge caught my eye, and she nodded excitedly. And with the 3rd step, Maggie decided to end her performance with a graceful crash.
Well done Maggie!

(Marge! We need to get more baby gates for the house!)

Postscript: Later, she managed 5 steps outside, and I caught it on video! Woohoo!
